The Segway Navimow i208 AWD is a wireless robotic lawn mower designed for lawns up to 800 square meters, featuring all-wheel drive, satellite navigation, and AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It eliminates the need for physical boundary wires by using Segway's EFLS 2.0 (Exact Fusion Locating System) technology.
Key Features and Technology
- Wire-Free Setup: Uses satellite positioning (RTK) and vision enhancement for a completely wireless setup via a smartphone app, where you can create virtual boundaries and define mowing zones.
- All-Wheel Drive (AWD): The AWD system and off-road tires enable it to handle difficult terrain and slopes up to 45% (24°) with automotive-grade electronic stability control (ESC).
- Intelligent Navigation: The EFLS 2.0 system provides centimeter-level positioning accuracy. The VisionFence technology, an AI-powered camera system, detects and avoids over 20 types of common garden obstacles in real time.
- Efficient Mowing: The mower uses a systematic mowing pattern rather than random paths for efficient coverage. It also features an Edge mode for a more precise cut along borders.
- Connectivity and Control: It offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular connectivity (1 year free 4G data service included). It supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
- Durability and Maintenance: The main unit is IPX6 waterproof, allowing it to be hosed down for easy cleaning. It also has a low noise level of approximately 59 dB(A).
