The Kress KR283E is an advanced, all-wheel-drive robotic lawnmower designed for large, complex lawns, featuring satellite-guided and camera-based navigation that eliminates the need for perimeter wires or a fixed antenna.

- Satellite-guided Navigation (RTKn): The KR283E uses the Kress RTKn network for centimeter-level accuracy without requiring a physical boundary wire or an on-site antenna.
- AI-powered Vision (EyePilot): It employs a stereo camera system (V-SLAM) and AI to navigate, detect obstacles in real-time, and ensure seamless mowing even in areas with weak satellite signals or under shade.
- All-Wheel Drive (AWD): The in-hub drive motors provide all-wheel drive, allowing it to effortlessly climb slopes up to 83.9% (40 degrees) and maintain traction on demanding gradients.
- ZeroTrim Technology: A secondary side blade ensures a perfectly clean edge cut, trimming within 0-2 cm of the boundary, eliminating the need for manual edge trimming.
- TurfSteer System: The articulated chassis and all-wheel drive allow the mower to make smooth turns without damaging the grass, even in tight and complicated layouts.
- Regenerative Braking System (RBS): When going downhill, the wheel motors generate electricity which is routed back to the battery, extending the mowing range, especially on hilly terrain.
- Smart Cutting Algorithm: The mower adapts blade RPM and drive speed based on grass density (recognized by EyePilot AI) for a clean, even finish.
